Wow, this month was full of amazing books, I’m not sure I can top these reads.
Let’s start with what I read first. I started with Big Little Lies because my girlfriend recommended it after we read The Husband’s Secret. I was immediately drawn in because I knew this was going to become a tv series on HBO. This book kept me hooked with its huge tease at the beginning and the rest of the story it lays out the twisted lives of each of the three women. Definitely a good read about a mom “social circle”… it will keep you wanting to read more!
The second book was probably my top three books ever, It Ends With Us. It is the most raw, honest and inspiring books I’ve ever read. It really wasn’t what I expected, I went in with no expectations and I’m so glad I did. This is one of those books that you will smile, laugh and definitely cry. I don’t want to tell you too much so I’ll leave it at that…. you must read this!
Third on the list was Maybe Someday, another one by Hoover. This one was a lot more light hearted, and fun! It was a love story with a compelling love attraction and kept me involved til the end. I love the fact it’s about a college girl (takes me back) and a musician… there’s also a soundtrack that goes along with this book that I can’t wait to hear!
Finally, I’m onto Cancel the Wedding. So I’m not quite finished with this one, but it is definitely a great read! It has everything you would want in a book, relationship drama, family secrets revealed and historical fiction spun into present day setting. A book you will love for sure!
