Well summer has come and gone. Although it is a little bittersweet to say goodbye to summertime fun, it’s really nice to get back into a routine and get back to school! There has been so much going on around here, it’s hard to keep up… I’ll try best to update.
Maddox has been loving this drum we HAD to get him after gym class because he was obsessed with it every time the teacher brought it out.
I do not recommend this toy… it is the loudest, most obnoxious thing ever so I hid it… for like a week. But I have come to terms with it and it’s back in the toy box (or in his hands) at all times.
Mindy snapped this adorable photo when she was watching him one day and I could not get over it!
He’s going to hate me one day for posting this! ๐
Then it happened… my first day back at school and he fell asleep on me when I got home. He NEVER does this. At first I just enjoyed the snuggles…. and then we realized. He’s sick. ๐
Ended up being a mild case of hand foot and mouth. He had to stay home for a few days and so did Daddy. It was no bueno.
After a week of not so much fun, Maddox was good as new and ready to get back to school!
Meanwhile, my sweet step dad, Rene received a HUGE honor for his service to H-E-B. He was inducted into the “Million Mile Club”. He has driven a million miles, ticket free and wreck free. That is a lot of driving and he is good at what he does, they are lucky to have him!
Aunt Sissy and Uncle Vinny went on their annual trip to her second home and it looked fabulous, we were so jealous!!! Can’t wait to go back, but glad ya’ll had fun!
And guess what??! My dad has officially moved here! He
We had a fun dinner and dancing with friends to kick off fall!
Aren’t they precious?
The live (one man) band was the perfect entertainment!
They were mesmerized.
I can’t forget to mention my fabulous first grade team! It has been such an honor to start at McAuliffe Elementary and I have been so blessed with these wonderful ladies!
And I haven’t forgotten about this beautiful blessing of a baby girl growing in my tummy! She is going to look darling in all the fun outfits I’ve been splurging on.
Now I think I need to be a little more realistic and get some onsies, burp cloths and umm diapers.
