I seriously can not believe this little guy is 16 months old!! It’s true what they say, “in the blink of an eye.” We have been truly enjoying enjoying our time getting settled into our new home and making things comfy for all three of us. Zach has been SUPER busy with his work and we couldn’t be happier but it makes for very long days!
Super happy before our 15 month shots.
At 15 month check up:
HEIGHT: 31.5 inches
WEIGHT: 24.6 lbs.
LOVES: bath time, reading books, going for walks, crawling on Cope, family time and swimming!
EATING: everything! He loves, tortillas, fruit, crackers, fruit/veggie squeeze pouches and Baby Einstein!
CLOTHES: this boy is mostly in 18 month clothes… some shorts are still 12 months.
SIBLING DUTY: Maddox is proudly working on saying Sissy! He’s also practicing kissing mommy’s tummy. He can’t wait to meet her in December.
Speaking of little sister if you haven’t seen our announcement here it is!
He even made his Etsy debut.. check it out here.
He is a growing boy! I mean, look at those cheeks!!
He figured out how crayons work!
He is quiet the happy boy and is always playful and sweet!
I mean, this was during our Tuesday night dinner… pure joy!
Moving has definitely been a whirlwind! But having family around makes it a lot easier!!!
He has been getting lots of love from his aunts and uncles lately and he eats it up!!
Uncle Colton! I wish we could see him everyday!!!
His talented Uncle Vinny who created Maddox’s first rap video! Check it out {here}!
He just adores his Uncle Manny!
Kisses for his beautiful Aunt Vana!
We love Aunt Aly! Yummy pie! 🙂
Claps with Aunt Sissy!
I love having my family around!! Mindy has been staying with him during the days (until school is out) and he LOOOVES her, he cries and clings to her when she tries to leave. We are so blessed!
We have some very dear friends who moved in right across the street from us!! We are so excited to see them more often and have park day play dates! Our boys are right around the same age and they are so adorable together!!
Logan and dad stopped by for a visit!
Caption this….
“That egg looks good.”
“Yea, it’s alright, wanna pass me that ball?”
We also visited our old friend Grayson!!
But 15 months isn’t all fun and games… we got hit hard with MOLARS! Dun, dun duuuuuuuun!
Oh my word, that was the hardest and saddest 3 days for all of us! Maddox had fever, headaches and mouth pain for a whole long weekend, we even had to miss our sweet Aunt Caity’s graduation from Texas Tech! He wouldn’t take his milk, would hardly eat… and if you know my son, you know that is just not like him. 🙂 It took lots of snuggles, tylenol and cuddles to get him feeling better! But it finally passed (for now) and he has two new molars to show for it! Once he started feeling better we had to get out of the house for a while, so we met Uncle Vinny and Aunt Sissy at the mall for a little stroll! We stopped at Barnes and Noble and had a good ol’ time playing with the train table and lego table!
A nice bath always helps him feel better!

Yup, you know what I’m talking about.. who needs toys lol.
Maddox has started gymnastics with his friend Aubrey and he LOVES it!
We have been LOOVING our new house! We go for walks in the park and play on the playground almost every day. It has been such a blessing moving into this neighborhood. We love the sense of community and all our neighbors are super sweet!
Just another walk in the park!
We also had my family visit a few times this month; we always have a blast!!
We love our pool time!
