She does it again!! I finished this in two sittings to know how it ended. Call it a popcorn thriller, but she knows how to keep you invested. I wouldn’t say it’s a literary masterpiece but if you’re looking for something to entertain you, has short chapters, and is a little over 300 pages, this is the one for you!
Sydney is a single woman in New York who has had her share of bad dates. Until finally, she hits the jackpot and meets the perfect guy!
Then the brutal murder of a young woman shocks the police- a mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.
Sydney can’t help but feeling worried, but should she? I mean, she has the most perfect boyfriend, right?
Those Empty Eyes was a nail biter. This was my book club pick for the month and I’m so glad.
This one started out so fast and so engaging!!! 10 years ago an entire family is gunned down and murdered in their home, except for the oldest daughter, Alexandra Quilan. She was found holding the gun so it was an easy arrest. Eventually, she is proven innocent and receives a hug settlement. Now, she goes by as Alex Armstrong and is working as an investigator. True Crimes podcasts still refer to her as Empty Eyes.
This crime thriller was busy with a lot of details and multiple storylines. I found myself a little detached and just wanting to get to the end.
I liked it, just wasn’t mind-blowing.
My sweet friend recommended this, and to my surprise, it was available on Cloud Library right away. I needed a palette cleanser so I started it.
Ready or Not is about a twenty-something named Eve that finds out she’s expecting after an uncharacteristic one night stand.
This one turned out to be a cute read.
I need to do some deep breaths after this one. This one was absolutely nerve-wracking and gripping. It truly made me gasp out loud! This one was a solid thriller.
This follows Miley, an Olympic athlete working a summer job at an Idaho resort. One day while out running in the woods, she gets kidnapped by these two doomsday preppers.
