This Valentine’s Day is definitely one to remember! These little people make me so happy!

We kept it low key as far as gifts this year. We got the kids a small box of a few gifts each and mostly things they need. We usually gift books, which are always a favorite and are very well loved.
Maddox is really obsessed with the Llama Llama books so I thought this one would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. Under $5 you can’t go wrong.
This is a cute one about a Panda searching for the perfect hug. He comes across a bunch of adorable animals and the pictures are very colorful. I love the story!!
Maddox also got some Thomas underwear, a flash light and some Thomas bath toys!
Mia got some new socks, and a new backpack! PBK has all their backpacks on sale so it’s a great time to buy if you’re in the market. We are slowly transitioning out of the diaper bag for short trips out of the house and so far it’s been working great! #3yearsstraightwithadiaperbag #imfree #hallelujah
We can fit a few diapers, wipes, some snacks and even a sippy cup! It’s perfection!
And for Zach, we had a nice dinner (alone) and exchanged cards. We usually don’t get each other anything but I got him this super cool reading light. He always reads in bed and I grouch at him to turn off the light! Ha! So it’s kind of a gift for me too! I think he’ll really get some good use out of it.
This year we decided to have a little Valentine party with some of our friends. It was a playdate plus lunch and we really had a great time!
The weather has been so mild here so we decided to have a little picnic outside.
Those conversation hearts didn’t stand a chance when Maddox saw the them.

I just love watching these kids grow up together! We had such a fun time… although Peyton wasn’t really feeling the picture.

I hope these kiddos enjoy looking back on these photos when they’re older. It was a lot of planning and prepping but overall I’m so happy we did it! We had a great time sharing this fun day with our friends!
