They are doing a Netflix series on these books!! If you enjoy a good, light read about teen romance these are adorable and fun reads that you can watch in August when Netflix comes out with the series. Here’s a trailer.

I can’t help but be torn about this book. I LOVED the first half, it was very well developed and the flow was perfectly set up…. But then the rollercoaster went off the tracks and took a sharp right turn. I like a good twist in a thriller but this one ended up taking me in too many loopty-loops that I started disliking the characters more and more. This one is definitely not boring but it sure is a little too much of a good thing. You should also be prepared that most of the domestic problems are because of their infant sons death.

Sometime I Lie is about a woman that wakes up in the hospital, she can hear everything around her but can’t speak or move. 😳 Needless to say, it sucks you right in! This is the ultimate phycological page turner that will leave you re-reading the last few pages over and over again- dumbfounded. There were a few graphic scenes that I could’ve done without-hence the 4 star rating instead of 5.

This one by Lisa Jewell is a dark one- definitely slow burning suspense but is very intriguing. It’s not quite the non-stop thrill ride but Jewell somehow keeps you entertained while developing these characters throughout the entire book. There are multiple POVs and it flips from past and present, three stories intertwine and pull you in ’til the last page.
