We had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip to San Antonio. I sure do miss seeing my grandparents and the kids loved seeing them too. It’s such a long drive (especially with little ones) but in the end it was so worth it! We don’t always get to see our San Antonio family so this was such a great visit.
Mom baked a turkey and made all her delicious sides. My cousin baked the pies and I just made sure I ate for two. 😜
The kids had so much fun seeing their great grandparents and running around memaws house. I just love watching them interact with family. Maddox even sang us a little song before dinner.
I just love that at 4 years old he was brave enough to sing in front of the entire family! So precious… and definitely a moment to remember!
The next morning Memaw and Nay took the kids to Kiddie Park and they had a blast!
Kiddie Park was the perfect place for the kids to enjoy some quality time with their grandparents. They had so many fun rides that were perfectly age appropriate. I just love seeing their happy, smiling faces. Thanks Memaw and Nay, what a fun place!
One thing’s for sure, this trip ALWAYS wears us out. The long road trip home wasn’t complete without a little nap in the car.
