I already know what you’re thinking… “Why are you taking a 9 month old to Disney World?” I’m pretty sure every single person at the park looked at us and thought the same thing.
Well, it’s easy…. I KNOW MINNIE MOUSE!! The Minnie Mouse!
Ok, where should I begin….
My beautiful sister Mindy graduated from Texas State with her Masters in August.
She is engaged to this awesome guy named Vincent and they are getting married in March. So she decided to move to Florida for 6 months and live her dream in Disney World until then. So she auditioned to be a character and got it! Little did she know she would be MINNIE MOUSE!! My teeny, tiny sister was the perfect mouse height to be Minnie. So we really wanted to see her but couldn’t decide if we should take our little family of three to visit.
UNTIL she got the part in the major Christmas Parade as Minnie!
We were sold.
We asked Maddox and this was his reaction.
So we had to! It’s only once in a lifetime you get to see your Aunt Sissy on a float in freakin’ DISNEY WORLD. So Daddy booked the trip and we were off!
Our first day started off great! We met Goofy and Pluto as soon as we walked in the park!
Got some kisses from Aunt Sissy.
Then we met Mickey and Minnie at Animal Kingdom.
Priceless.
This is how Maddox relaxed.
It was so warm, the weather was perfect!
We stopped for some ice cream, yum!
Sweet boy crashed in Daddy’s arms.
*Sigh*
The next morning we had breakfast at Disney Beach and Yacht Club Resort!!

He couldn’t take his eyes off her!

He didn’t want to pose, he wanted to touch them!
Meeting all those characters wore him out!

The hubby and I snuck a kiss at Downtown Disney. 🙂
We had to get a photo of our little man on the football field at our resort! We loooved staying at the Disney All-Star Sports Resort.
He left his ears on juuust long enough for a quick shot!
And yes, he’s wearing a Mickey outfit. 😉

We made some amazing memories and I am so blessed to have such a supportive husband that made it all happen. Maddox and I thank the Lord every day for him.
Our Disney Christmas will be one we will never forget!
