There is nothing better than having the most loving, loyal, hardworking man as the head of your house. He is seriously the best husband and father anyone could ask for.
Last year his birthday was the day before Mia’s birth sooo we kinda had to keep it simple. This year I wanted to go big!
I started by surprising him and taking him to lunch… just he and I! Wow, what a wierd feeling, no highchairs, table stickers, snacks, sippy cups, etc. We just took our time and had a little cocktail. 🙂
Then we got back in the car and drove and drove….
When he finally started asking questions (and figuring it out) I gave him his card with a note inside thats said this…..
He was totally shocked! He had NO CLUE! I’m so glad I could get him something that he’s never done before, it was such a cool experience.

What a great gift! Glad you two had some time for yourself! And seriously how is Mia turning 1 tomorrow;(. So funny my AJ and your hubby share a birthday, my jack and Maddox share a birthday and our kiddos (my two boys) have the same span between them and only off by a day for their birthdays!
