Five on Friday

one.

In honor of Good Friday and Easter I just want us to remember the reason for this beautiful holiday! It’s not about bunnies and hunting eggs (although that part is really fun). It’s about God sending his son to earth and then to be sacrificed for all our sins. The grave couldn’t hold him, after three days Christ the Lord rose up and ascended to heaven. Remember this Sunday when you’re with your family, He is the real reason for the season.

We do love Easter activities and we’re so thankful to get to have the time together to do it! We had a practice egg hunt in our backyard and I had to share some of the cuteness!

three.

After all the hard work we put into Maddox’s nursery, it pains me to leave it when we move. Zach did such a great job painting and hanging everything to perfection.

I can’t decide if I should paint his new nursery or leave it and prepare for a big boy room. I love the chevron in gray and white and I always thought it would be perfect for another boy or a girl.

Speaking of the new house, we made our first purchase for our new home this week! I know, I know this seems so tiny and not a big deal but we are stoked to be choosing specific ‘pieces’ for every part of our home! So we made this purchase online! Ahh kind of weird not seeing it and feeling it, but we trust Joss and Maine to have beautiful and dependable furniture! Isn’t it pretty?!
